Mamasita Afritada/Menudo Mix 30g

Mama Sita’s Meat Stew Mix (Menudo/Afritada) 30g — a convenient Filipino seasoning mix for preparing traditional Menudo or Afritada. Made with tomato, garlic, onion and paprika, it provides a delicious savoury tomato base for hearty Filipino meat stews.

Ingredients: Paprika, Salt, Cane Sugar, Tomato Powder (12%), Onion Powder, Cornstarch, Garlic Powder, Yeast Extract, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid).

Preparation: Dissolve one 30g pouch of Mama Sita’s Meat Stew Mix in 250ml water or broth. Fry your choice of meat until golden, then add the dissolved seasoning mix. Cover and simmer until the meat is tender, adding hot water if needed. Add potatoes, carrots, bell pepper and other ingredients according to your chosen Menudo or Afritada recipe, then simmer briefly before serving.

Storage: Store in a clean, cool and dry place.
